Glenroy private takes pride to be a co-educational prep to year 12 islamic school for young Australlian Muslims.
Our school was founded in 2011 to address a growing need for Islamic education for the Australian Muslim community in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
Since then, we have worked deligently to educate our students in accordance with the Australian curriculum standards, as well as Qur’an, Islamic studies, and Arabic language.
We Are Providing an Environment for Our Students to Grow & Excel
Glenroy Private has shown a rapid and development over the year through the community. We currently have over 600 students and we are committed to providing them with the necessary educational tools for academic success.
Glenroy Private fulfill a significant role in educating the younger Australian Muslim community. Our school continues to do so with its strengthened academic results according to the Australian curriculum and consistent disciplinary education.
Our school was established in 2011 with just 27 students between Prep and Grade 2
In 2014, just 3 years after opening, the school’s growing success led us to move to the larger campus we are on today. By the end of that year, the school was proudly the educational home of over 200 students.
Our old campus was since repurposed into a mosque.
Since 2021 the school community, state and federal goverments have made a significant investment in new facilities to meet the ever changing need of our needs of our students and teachers.
Our inaugural cohort of VCE Year 12 students graduated in 2022, marking the beginning of our exciting new chapter as a prep-to-Year 12 school
In 2023 construction of our multipurpose hall was complete, enabling us to host larger community events on our own campus.
It was also the first in a series of new buildings constructed for the Glenroy Private major campus upgrade
The new highschool building was complete, a state-of-the-art school facility with modern technologies and accessibility for our students.
